摘要: Shared tree multicast is a well established concept used in several protocols for wireline networks (e.g. core base tree, PIM sparse mode etc). In this paper, we extend the shared to wireless, mobile, multihop applications ranging from ad hoc networking disaster recovery and battlefield. The main challenge mobile rapidly changing environment. We address issue our design by: (a) using "soft state"; (b) assigning different roles nodes depending on their mobility (two level model); (c) proposing an adaptive scheme which combines source benefits. A detailed wireless simulation model evaluate proposed schemes compare them with based (as opposed tree) multicast. results show that have low overhead are very robust mobility.
