摘要: The recent advent of wireless mobile ad hoc networks and sensor creates many opportunities challenges. This thesis explores some them. In light new application requirements in such environments, it proposes a multicast paradigm called spatiotemporal for supporting network applications which require both spatial temporal coordination. With focus on special case multicast, mobicast, this work several novel protocols analyzes their performances. dissertation also investigates implications mobility the classical group membership problem distributed computing, specification partitionable service catering to networks, provides mobility-aware algorithm middleware service. results bring insights into design analysis communication fault-tolerant computing networks.
