Ethics codes and sales professionals' perceptions of their organizations' ethical values

摘要: Most large companies and many smaller ones have adopted ethics codes, but the evidence is mixed as to whether they a positive impact on behavior of employees. We suggest that one way codes could contribute ethical by influencing perceptions employees about values organizations. examine group sales professionals in organizations with perceive their organizational context more supportive than without codes. After accounting for effect several covariates, our results indicated employed perceived work environments did other professionals.
