摘要: Abstract The CrAlSiN coatings with Si contents from 0 at.% to 13.0 at.% were deposited on AISI 304 stainless steels and tungsten carbide by RF magnetron sputtering. In the ball-on-disc wear tests, improved friction coefficient of (Cr 0.5 Al ) 1 − x N increasing content was revealed. hardness (H) reduced elastic modulus ( E ⁎ acquired a nanoindentation. H 3 / ⁎2 ratio found be proportional abrasion resistance coatings, therefore coating maximum as high 0.475 adding 9.0 at.% exhibited superior plastic deformation wear. addition, it revealed that columnar grains CrAlN switched refined equi-axial ones after addition. From observation crack propagation, evidenced sophisticated boundary prevents direct penetration cracks. On basis these tribological behaviors, durability is thus demonstrated.
