Oxygen-Initiated and Regulated Controlled Radical Polymerization under Ambient Conditions.

摘要: A rapid oxygen-initiated and -regulated controlled radical polymerization was conducted under ambient temperature atmosphere. The reaction between triethylborane oxygen provides ethyl radicals, which initiate mediate the polymerization. achieved using RAFT chain transfer agents (CTA) without any process of removing oxygen, providing well-defined polymers with almost full conversion (>95 %) in a short period (15 min). High-throughput screening used to discover suitable conditions for various CTA monomers. To show versatility this method, polymer library containing 25 different compositions (block statistical copolymers) molecular weights were synthesized 1 h via high-throughput synthesis technique. polymer-painting technique developed forming films spatial control excellent weight dispersity.
