摘要: Chronotherapeutics refers to treatments based on the principles of circadian rhythm organization and sleep physiology, which control exposure environmental stimuli that act biological rhythms, in order achieve therapeutic effects treatment psychiatric conditions. It includes manipulations sleep-wake cycle such as deprivation phase advance, controlled light dark. The antidepressant chronotherapeutics are evident difficult-to-treat conditions bipolar depression, has been associated with extremely low success rates drugs naturalistic settings stable response more than half patients. Recent advances study neurotransmitter systems, clock machinery, allow us pinpoint its mechanism action transform it from a neglected or “orphan” powerful clinical instrument everyday practice.
