摘要: The project reported in this paper documents the performance of an urban electric power system located Pacific Northwest region US for five events: four winter storms and Nisqually earthquake magnitude 6.8. In order to assess these events, several metrics were employed. These included linear regression weather variables with standard utility reliability indices as defined by IEEE (2001); restoration rate following initial impact event; distribution duration outages; empirical derivation a fragility curve lifeline comprised feeders, lines, poles substations function seismic parameters. A qualitative investigation local policies provides limited evidence policy correlation performance. preliminary findings suggest that certain are more useful than others when making comparisons one hazard.
