摘要: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) can result in cognitive disorders that significantly interfere with the daily activities of HIV patients. These may be worse when there is a history psychoactive substance use. Our objective to assess neuropsychological profile group patients previous drug use compared HIV-negative The study included total 28 Spanish adult subjects, which 14 were HIV-infected and HIV-negative. subjects assessed using test battery evaluate following 8 most commonly affected domains people HIV: attention working memory, speed information processing, memory learning capacity, abstract thinking executive functions, speech language skills, psychomotor skills. results showed performance all areas among as this could viral infection. Regardless impairment etiology, key task here diagnose deficits soon possible order improve quality life through intervention.
