摘要: Abstract The paper presents issues concerning the manufacturing process and investigation of surface topography polymeric sockets ceramic balls incorporated into total hip joint prosthesis. In friction pairs, a crucial role is played by type mechanical properties material as well stages machining process. produced then checked evaluated against requirements standard ASTM F2033-12 which refers to methods for measuring permissible limits dimensional tolerances, departure from roundness, finish (defects roughness parameters) examined components. measurements were performed with following devices: coordinate machine, white light interference microscopy, scanning electron microscopy. results provided basis conclusions indicated directions further research. All studied components meet F2033-12. Identified errors, fall within error limits, result many factors that can be eliminated improving next step in research review accuracy machined parts using simulator.
