摘要: Rhubarb is one of the most well-known herbal medicines that constitute daiokanzoto (DKT), which clinically effective for constipation. Sennoside A transformed into an active metabolite, rheinanthrone, by intestinal bacteria. in rhubarb showed significantly accelerated metabolic activity bacteria comparison with sennoside alone. In this study, we investigated influence constituents on metabolism and purgative A. The 20% MeOH-eluted fraction separated MCI-gel CHP-20P column chromatography from water extract similar to extract. MeOH elute was further purified rhein 8-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (RG) isolated. increasing level RG. Moreover, rhein, emodin aloe-emodin also metabolism. when RG or concomitantly given a dose-dependent manner. These results suggest anthraquinones contribute action rhubarb. Therefore, it assumed fate rheinanthrone may promote
