摘要: Abstract Light sensors were constructed which measured narrow wavelength bands of radiation at 660 and 730 nm under field conditions. Both the spectral quality incident to top a corn crop within recorded. The traversed horizontally through five types canopies several heights. was spectrally stable themidday, regardless sky However, lower Sun elevations relative increase observed. Within red is absorbed by leaves, but far-red highly scattered. Consequently, heavily enriched with increasing depth into crop. enrichment canopy greater low elevations. Some implications effects these environments on behavior phytochrome system plants are discussed.
