摘要: The past decade has witnessed the unveiling of a powerful new generation genetically engineered mouse (GEM) models human cancer, which are proving to be highly effective for elucidating cancer mechanisms and interrogating novel experimental therapeutics. This GEM well suited chemoprevention research, particularly investigating progressive stages carcinogenesis, identifying biomarkers early detection intervention, preclinical assessment agents or combinations agents. Here we discuss opportunities challenges application in prevention as strategies maximize their relevance cancer.
