摘要: The COLIS (Collaborative Online Learning and Information Systems) project is a DEST funded initiative based on consortium of five Australian universities (Macquarie, Newcastle, Tasmania, UNE, USQ) e-learning vendors (Computer Associates, Fretwell Downing, IPR Systems, WebCT WebMCQ) seeking to build broad, interoperable, standards-based environment for the future. Part first phase was creation "Demonstrator" or "testbed" investigate demonstrate strategies incremental development levels technical interoperability in learning space application integration. Interoperability adoption IMS standards such as Content Packaging Digital Repositories, IEEE Object Meta-data (LOM) standard, Open Rights Language (ODRL) standard. This paper provides reflections evolution Demonstrator environment, implications this experience future developments standards. In particular, has made important steps towards understanding broader view "Learning Lifecycle".
