摘要: To determine what brain sites are activated during the acquisition and retention of a maternal experience in postpartum rats, 3 studies examined number cells showing Fos-like immunoreactivity (Fos-lir) brains following reexposure to pups pup-associated cues maternally experienced inexperienced rats. Day 1 rats were given 2- or 4-hr interactive with then reexposed perforated box, neutral stimulus (perforated box only) 4 10 days later. At end test phase, prepared for immunohistochemical detection Fos-lir. The most consistent difference between medical preoptic area, basolateral amygdala, parietal cortex, prefrontal cortex.
