摘要: Autocrine stimulation of growth factor receptors by autonomously produced ligands regulates different aspects cellular transformation and progression. In several tumors, including gliomas, multiple autocrine systems are activated may exert functions in the malignant process. The c-kit proto-oncogene is widely expressed human it be its co-expressed ligand, stem cell (SCF). Studies glioma lines as well tumor types suggest possibility intracellular interactions with SCF. Although SCF not play a primary causal role initiation progression glial tumors they still contributing factors biology. It can hypothesized that parallel activation some which have found less attention such c-kit/SCF, could compromise efficacy therapies targeting loops. A better understanding multiplicity mechanisms has implications for development new interfering growth.
