摘要: Abstract A Southern blot ribotyping based on EcoRV and HindIII digestion with two 16S 23S rDNA probes for differentiating 27 Leptospira serovars was developed. The results between serotyping among 40 leptospiral strains isolated from field rats trapped in the northeastern region of Thailand during 1999–2000, were compared. combination ribotyping, using or both as probes, successfully typed into 24 ribotypes discriminatory index (D) values 0.99. 16S- 23S-EcoRV ribopatterns produced 17 9 profiles, respectively, D 0.95 0.63, respectively. Ribopatterns specific yielded patterns. 23S-HindIII 0.94 0.93, With digestion, probe more discriminative than serovars. Moreover, 16S-EcoRV (11 profiles), 16S-HindIII (10 profiles) higher numbers distinct unique profiles (5 profiles). showed 100% concordance serotyping, leading to all isolates being typed. current study revealed that a quick powerful tool serovars, has potential value epidemiological studies.
