摘要: The distribution, chemical, and apoprotein composition of plasma peripheral lymph lipoproteins were compared in control cholesterol-fed dogs. In both groups animals, the agarose electrophoretic patterns similar. hypercholesterolemic dogs, beta-very low density lipoprotein, beta-migrating intermediate HDLc major components lymph, providing evidence for a potential interaction these atherogenic particles with macrophages other cells. chemical physical appearance HDL was markedly different from that (high lipoprotein), especially animals. Lymph had higher cholesterol to protein ratio increased free content (free cholesteryl ester 1.7 as opposed 0.2 animals). phospholipid than HDL, while lower. A significant proportion obtained dogs form disc-shaped stacked rouleau structures. Changes apolipoprotein concentrations due feeding reflected degrees, depending largely on relative size containing individual lipoproteins. considerable enrichment apoE apoA-IV observed by immunochemical methods. apoE/apoA-I apoA-IV/apoA-I ratios several-fold elevated, those HDL. It is concluded, therefore, during substantial portion interstitial assembled de novo periphery crucial stage reverse transport liver. likely further modification occurs upon entry exposure lecithin:cholesterol acyltransferase, possibly leading generation HDLc. Alternatively, may be directly rapidly removed
