摘要: Objective In this study, we aimed to investigate the diagnostic availability of oxidant and antioxidant parameters in ascites for spontaneous bacterial peritonitis (SBP). Material Methods This study was carried out between July October 2018 with 25 patients SBP 24 without SBP. Patients acute infection, those taking vitamin supplements medication, smoking drinking alcohol, culture were excluded from study. Results compared median paraoxonase (3.1 vs 15.6 ; p <0.001), stimulated (12.6 53.1 arylesterase (769,9 857,5 = 0,003) catalase (10 22,2 found be lower myeloperoxidase (8.1 1.1 <0.001) higher. There a positive correlation levels levels, there negative levels. Paraoxonase 3.7 lower, 25.8 853.4 11.8 2.7 more predicted presence high specificity sensitivity. paraoxo-nase have superior performance predicting (p <0.05). Conclusion it shown that paraoxonase, arylesterase, activities can used diagnosis severity
