摘要: Abstract Introduction Operative treatment consisting of fracture reduction and fixation, or arthroplasty to permit early patient mobilization, continues be the choice for most femoral neck fractures. Options internal fixation have included a variety implants; however recent reports textbooks cite parallel multiple cancellous screws as surgical technique choice. Methods The study was prospective, randomized IRB approved. Inclusion criteria skeletal maturity, closed without concomitant fractures injuries with complete charts adequate radiographs obtained from initial injury till last follow-up. Forty-four patients were enrolled in this during one-year period at two university centers. 22 treated full threaded, cannulated compression (Acutrak 6/7, ACUMED) (Group 1) other 16 mm partial 6.5 mm 7.3 mm (SYNTHES) 2). Three four used both groups according type surgeon's preference. Data evaluated time, fluoroscopy type, radiological outcome, complications functional status using Harris Hip Score. Results Both comparable terms age gender. There not significant difference follow-up period, time. eight Group 1 2 (P = 0.049) Time union significantly longer (P = 0.001). However, Scores different (P = 0.20). Conclusion When compared threaded screws, partial-threaded provides shorter time less complication rate while providing equivalent results adult
