摘要: AbstractIntroductionSevere tinnitus can seriously impair patients in their activities daily life and reduce quality of life. The aims this prospective clinical study were to assess the long-term effects cochlear implantation (CI) on with single-sided deafness ipsilateral incapacitating tinnitus, investigate whether CI could treat various types tinnitus.Materials methodsTwenty-six subjects unilateral severe-to-profound sensorineural hearing loss received a CI. Patients suffered from severe greater than 6/10 visual analogue scale (VAS) due deafness. Assessment consisted analysis including determination type, frequency, loudness.
