摘要: We demonstrate that an allometric model for eelgrass leaf-growth rates can be derived from data on leaf architecture and growth form. Using this construct, we produced indirect assessments of leaves call projections, which easily obtained in terms parameters proxy values area, expressed as the product length width. These projections displayed a high level correspondence with observed our data, well other sets reference data. A comparison by using plastochrone index method showed provides more accurate estimations while simpler methodology. Our results also show whenever scaling dry weight area are available, proposed accurate, cost-effective non-destructive alternative to based traditional or methods.
