摘要: Abstract A modification to the traditional restricted-growth model, including a factor associated with environmental forcing, is presented in present paper. The model was fitted observed leaf-growth rates Zostera marina meadow temperate waters of San Quintin Bay, Mexico. Results indicate that proposed representation environmental-forcing as general linear function underwater radiation, water temperature, dissolved nutrients and their cross products, consistent available data on average growth rates. theoretical asymptotic length 1432 mm obtained. This reported maximum leaf lengths. use obtain lower bound for short life span discussed. estimation minimum time growing reach given size also illustrated.
