摘要: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is the most common esophageal disorder and perhaps among prevalent conditions seen in primary care setting. The clinical manifestations of GERD, typical or atypical, such as noncardiac chest pain, respiratory ear, nose, throat symptoms, result from gastric contents into esophagus. Thus spectrum wide requires accurate diagnosis. Ambulatory 24-hr pH monitoring not useful all patients suspected to have GERD. This review describes technique ambulatory monitoring, interpretation findings, applications this test.
