摘要: Abstract Resource and energy efficiency in industrial production is promoted within the European Union. For small medium size companies, resource significant for improving both economic environmental performance of a company. benchmarking identification potential improvements, relevant data must be collected comparative analysis necessary. Since business world driven by competitiveness, comparison companies can motivate investments economically environmentally beneficial improvements. Current benchmarks on should constantly updated. The aim this study to analyze compare with brewery sector Latvia. To promote approach apply national reference data, consumption from four Latvian breweries. were acquired on-site during personal meetings representatives all Based empirical breweries, specific energy, water indicators calculated normalized amount A linear regression was performed assess how factors impact overall consumption. results show that case breweries exceed available benchmarks, but some them achieve malt benchmarks. these although they are quite similar size, shows many more factors, other than capacity, influence their developed models company's further used as tools predicting based those individual each companies.
