摘要: The occurrence and coexpression of the cytoskeletal proteins vimentin cytokeratins were studied in malignant mesotheliomas pulmonary carcinomas. For this purpose a double immunoenzyme staining with monoclonal antibodies was developed which made it possible to visualize simultaneously within same cell. A clear distinction between stromal cells (vimentin only) tumour also obtained. total 12 (six mixed type six epithelioid type) 13 carcinomas (eight adenocarcinomas five large cell undifferentiated carcinomas) studied. results revealed difference adenocarcinomas: 11 showed at least 50% cells, while seven eight none or only few could be seen coexpression. In three expressed both components, but less than 25% cells. It is concluded that reliable can used as an additional means distinguish mesothelioma from adenocarcinoma.
