摘要: The activities of acid and alkaline phosphatases were localized by enzyme histochemistry in the chondroepiphyses 5 week old rabbits. Using paraformaldehyde-lysine-periodate as fixative, activity phosphatase was particularly well preserved could be demonstrated not only osteoclasts, but also chondrocytes cartilage early endochondral matrices. matrix tartrate-resistant, inhibited 2 mM sodium fluoride, whereas for osteoclasts 50–100 mM fluoride required inhibition. Simultaneous localisation both possible tissue that had been fixed 85% ethanol processed immediately. In growth plates secondary ossification centre physis, there a sequential two associated with chondrocyte maturation. surrounding immature epiphyseal or resting/proliferating plate contained weak activity. Maturing positive which spread to pre-mineralising zone, pattern consistent known location vesicles. region strong precise where reduced. With onset calcification, disappeared, found close association mineral deposition. Acid present bone, spicules recently mineralised. results suggest is preparation mineralization, might have contributory role during progression formation.
