摘要: This paper analyses the interplay of transport and development in North Korea, one most state-controlled underdeveloped countries world. While broader aspects have been well described by various studies, logistics given little attention as permissive or restrictive factors country‟s development. Despite recent reforms growth trade, Korea is confronted to weaknesses system inland logistics. An analysis vessel movements at Korean ports (19852006) shows that although coastal economies may increasingly use maritime overcome blockages, evolution port traffics better reflects trends such general economic decline, westward shift populations, polarization
