A systematic review of ordinal scales used to classify the eating and drinking abilities of individuals with cerebral palsy

摘要: The aim of this review was to examine systematically the scope, validity, and reliability ordinal scales used classify eating drinking ability people with cerebral palsy (CP). Six electronic databases were searched identify measures ability; in addition, two track citations key texts. constructs assessed by each measure examined relation World Health Organization International Classification Functioning, Disability Health. Evidence validity identified appraised from peer-reviewed studies using standard criteria. Fifteen 23 papers. Clinician or researcher assessment required for 13 scales; nine made use information parents carers through interviews questionnaires. Eight terms mild, moderate, severe (with varying definitions) describe different aspects impairment. There an either content and/or five however, none met recommended psychometric quality standards. Currently, there is a lack evidence functional abilities CP.
