摘要: Groundwater quality in Ogbomosho area of southwest Nigeria was investigated this study using multivariate statistical analysis. Factor analysis applied to the Hydrochemical data order extract principal factors responsible for different facies. By Kaiser Normalization, were extracted from data. The reveals six sources solutes which correspond possible groundwater pollution. Five (1, 2, 3, 4 and 6) originate natural while factor 5 is anthropogenic source. Based on calculated water index, falls under poor it attributed enrichment with fluoride, major ions heavy metals. type calcium-bicarbonate type. efficacy index characterization geochemistry Ogbomosho, has been demonstrated present study.
