摘要: This study was designed to further characterize the properties of previously described laryngeal cold receptors (Respir. Physiol. 59:35, 1985). Single unit action potentials were recorded from internal branch superior nerve (SLN) in anesthetized, spontaneously breathing dogs. The nervous conduction fibers originating 12 blocked at a mean (+/- SE) temperature 18.8 +/- 0.7 degrees C. Twelve localized on edge vocal folds correspondence process arytenoid cartilage. Topical anesthesia (2% lidocaine) their activity within 4-18 sec, suggesting superficial location. Paralysis during spontaneous through upper airway did not alter 9 13 receptors. On other hand, 7 tested with constant flow showed respiratory modulation and paralysis abolished 3 these air. During progressive cooling stepwise fashion, as frigid air breathing, maintained phasic discharge. Our results indicate that endings are particularly suited for detecting changes temperature.
