摘要: Six experiments with rats assessed the toxicity of aspartame behavioral measures. The first three used a conditioned taste aversion procedure since aversions are typically observed after is followed by toxin. Thirty min thirsty drank sweet solution they were intraperitoneally injected (Experiment 1) or intragastrically intubated 2) saline 176, 352, 704 mg/kg aspartame. Relative to given saline, and 352 showed strong mild aversions, respectively. Rats 176 any dose did not show aversions. In Experiment 3, voluntarily consumed an sweetened saccharin for 7 hr each day. Consumption paired was reduced. When 4), but when 5), 5 prior access running wheel, Wheel affected voluntary consumption 6). route administration effect (intraperitoneal vs. intragastric) on behavior corresponded amino acid levels in blood plasma 7). Aspartate, phenylalanine, tyrosine glutamate increased more injection, than intubation, (176 mg/kg). Overall, results suggest that may have adverse effects oral.
