摘要: Abstract A new method for reducing heavy metals in municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) fly ash was investigated. In many previous studies, acidic leaching regarded as a standard metal-ion extraction. However, this process requires additional treatment of the wastewater containing heavy-metal components. Therefore, study, we used basic solvents, i.e., 0.5 M aqueous NaOH, KOH, and NH4OH. The leachates remaining solids were qualitatively quantitatively analyzed. To facilitate handling extracted components, leached metal ions fixed precipitated using CO2 uptake procedure. analyzed X-ray fluorescence diffraction, scanning electron microscope images obtained. inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy. contrast to conventional extraction, reduction fixation, well mass waste, could be achieved with proposed method.
