摘要: Transmission network flexibility is a great challenge to operators. This increases with the high wind integration that leads stressing components and reducing reliability. However, due capacity constraints of overhead lines (OHLs) as well reliability requirements, noticeable part integrated energy needs be curtailed. induces curtailment costs based on contracted obligations providers. To extent, this paper develops evaluation framework utilizing large-scale battery storage systems (BESS) for minimizing interruption cost costs. Moreover, it investigates extra benefits curtailments from elevated depth discharge operation BESS (i.e., accelerated degradation). Two indices are developed capture degradation risks named expected (EADC) equivalent cycle (EECAD). The proposed approach implemented 24 bus IEEE Reliability test system using sequential Monte-Carlo simulation. results show an improvement in reduction 28% 34% respectively.
