摘要: We calculate the subgap density of states a disordered single-channel normal metal connected to superconductor at one end (normal-metalâ��superconductor junction) or both ends [superconductorâ��normal-metalâ��superconductor (SNS) junction]. The probability distribution energy bound state (Andreev level) is broadened by disorder. In SNS case twofold degeneracy Andreev levels removed disorder leading splitting in addition broadening. given precisely Wignerâ��s surmise from random-matrix theory. For strong mean largely unaffected proximity superconductor, because localization, except narrow region near Fermi level, where suppressed with log-normal tail.
