A rare case of primary small bowel adenocarcinoma with intussusception

摘要: Other than in childhood, intussusception is unusual and nearly always caused by a structural well demonstrable lesion. In contrast with the colon tract, inci dence of primary malignancies small bowel very low.We report case 51-year -old man presenting jejunal due to adenocar cinoma. To our knowledge, only few similar cases have been reported litera ture date .The patient was referred division for obstruction. A CT scan showed surgical exploration hence considered. At laparotomy, located just after ligament Treitz polypoid lesion confirmed resection first loop carried out . Histological examination specimen resulted diagnosis adeno carcinoma adult intestinal intussusception, without reduction considered optimal management if an underlying malig nancy cannot be excluded.
