摘要: Abstract Barium hexaferrite phase of composition BaO-6Fe 2 O 3 dimensions in the range 8.2 to 17.6 nm have been grown within a glass medium by subjecting latter suitable heat treatment. Magnetization measurements on resultant glass-ceramic carried out at temperatures varying from 20 300 K. The coercive field H c is found be much smaller than that bulk hexaferrite. value increases as temperature reduced. Also, shows an increase with particle size. It appears effective anisotropy constant plays important role determining this behavior.
