摘要: Oxo-molybdenum chemistry is of great interest since such units are found in the active sites a majority molybdo-enzymes. In order to mimic biological systems, number oxo-molybdenum complexes have been synthesised and studied. This review describes synthesis, structure applications particularly cis-MoO2(L)(D) where L stands for dianionic tridentate ONO ligand D donor solvent molecule/monodentate ligand. The moieties derived from Schiff base, hydrazide base other related ligands L(H)2. coordination geometry around Mo center these can be best described as distorted octahedron which ONO-tridentate occupies meridional position with two anionic oxygen donors mutually trans cis centers cis-dioxo group. Mostly cis-MoO2-(ONO) type seen literature oxo transfer reactions like epoxidation, sulfoxidation phosphine oxidation reactions.
