摘要: The Department of Survey and Mapping Malaysia (DSMM), in collaboration with the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia(UTM), has carried out a study towards establishment new geodetic framework for country. Geocentric Datum (GDM2000) is being built by GPS space technology based on International Terresterial Reference Frame (ITRF2000) Geodetic System 1980 (GRS80) reference ellipsoid. GDM2000 connected to ITRF2000 inclusion 15 Service (IGS) sites from nearby regions precise baselines processing adjustment network existing Malaysian Active (MASS) stations. process implementing particular matters related datum transformation map projection addressed. New sets parameters concerning conversion local have been developed. Its implication cadastral mapping practices, various non-mapping applications, GIS/LIS applications considered.
