摘要: Abstract Glasses in the xEu 2 O 3 ·(100-x)[4TeO ·PbO ] system where 0 ≤ x ≤ 50 mol% have been prepared using melt quenching method. The influence of europium ions on structure lead–tellurate glasses has investigated density measurements, FTIR and UV–VIS spectroscopy. Structural changes produced by increasing rare earth concentration were followed. lead show a preference towards [TeO structural units causing deformation Te linkages. inferred analyzing band shapes IR spectra revealed that increase Eu + 3 content causes intercalation [EuO n entities 4 chain network. excess oxygen can be supported into glass network formation [PbO units. spectroscopy data enter matrix 2+ 3+ valence states, last being predominant studied glasses. Pb + 2 produce strong absorption ultraviolet domain.
