摘要: A recent paper published in this Journal purported to provide a quantitative test of the thermogenetic hypothesis cetacean brain evolution. While using appropriate statistical analyses that account for phylogenetic inertia, errors raw data and interpretation raise concerns about validity results conclusions paper. In commentary data, mathematical approaches, lack inclusion certain points misinterpretation are detailed. The conclusion being has not been correctly tested by study.
