Cortical surface area reduction in identification of subjects at high risk for post-traumatic stress disorder: A pilot study.

摘要: Objective:Victims of motor vehicle accidents often develop post-traumatic stress disorder, which causes significant social function loss. For the difficulty in treating identification subjects at high risk for disorder is essential providing possible intervention. This paper aims to examine cortical structural traits related susceptibility disorder.Methods:To address this issue, we performed magnetic resonance imaging study accident victims within 48 hours from accidents. A total 70 victims, available both clinical and data, enrolled our study. Upon completion 6-month follow-up, 29 them developed while 41 didn’t.
