摘要: The great majority of our patients are extubated in the operating room or postanesthesia recovery room, depending upon return respiratory function, which is turn related to patient’s weight, length operative procedure, and car-diopulmonary status. Criteria for extubation discussed Chapter 9. All cared intensive care unit first 24 h, longer if indicated. ICU probably unnecessary except those who require ventilator management, older patients. This determination must also take into account adequacy floor nursing staff.
