摘要: Abstract The objective of this research is to verify whether an end-of-life allocation strategy can affect the choice between two products or processes. This study evaluates a comparison products/processes that obtained by applying cut-off (CO) approach and substitution method (Sub) cause sign reversal for with different recyclability features. main intent provide clear picture Life Cycle Assessment practitioners, who analyze recycling systems would benefit knowing preference ranking Two comparative case studies were developed using primary data. very because they referred sectors. In first study, analyzed subjects plastic products; in second incineration line under design operative conditions. For strategies implemented modeling burdens input waste disposal. waste; disposal slag, ashes dust; recovery construction materials; energy recovery. To confirm findings cases, additional was simulated combining cases. results combined indicate comparisons are only marginally affected applied consistent both almost all impact categories.
