摘要: Abstract Economic comparison is made for three different plant sizes. Small plants with a capacity below 100 m3/d; medium-scale between and 200 m3/d, large above m3/d. Compared are solar stills, solar-assisted desalination, reverse osmosis small plants. Published comparisons of medium commercially available reviewed. The economics two new one as yet undeveloped processes compared. Dehumidification air direct contact freezing process new. Development the butane can reduce water-cost by over 30%.
