摘要: A previous paper described the purification of a lectin induced in hemolymph larvae Sarcophaga peregrina (flesh-fly) on injury their body wall (Komano, H., Mizuno, D., and Natori, S. (1980) J. Biol. Chem. 255, 2919-2924). This describes cDNA cloning complete nucleotide sequence gene for lectin. Although active consists alpha beta subunits molar ratio 2:1, fat injured was found to contain only mRNA subunit, suggesting that these two are derived from common subunit is converted post-translationally. The consist 260 amino acid residues with an additional signal 19 or 23 residues.
