摘要: Design and analysis of a new compensating element for improving the electron pulse front compressing duration in femtosecond photoelectron gun are described. The is small metallic cylindrical cavity which an external voltage applied such way that special electric field forms interacts with pulse. This reduces distances between faster slower electrons inside efficiently compensates broadening caused by energy spread space charge effects. Poisson’s equation motion solved to obtain trajectories. Results highlight important design parameters show its feasibility pulses regime.
