摘要: Abstract Many developing countries like Jordan, suffer from the lack of natural resources required to supply their energy demand. As such, maximum utilization available and renewable becomes a necessity. ALQatrana powerplant in Jordan; operating on combined cycle suffers sensitivity ambient air temperatures full waste heat flue gas. In this work, plant was simulated using engineering equation solver, simulation validated against actual data. A cascade absorption mechanical chillers for inlet cooling, along with CSP system were proposed. These auxiliary systems also literature, then integrated power cycle. Results showed that hybrid cooling cycle, can be more appealing terms boosting economical profit, compared either alone. The proposed relative increase by 22.8%, 4.3% increased efficiency, decrease SFC 8.4%, plant. Moreover, due unit, exhibited low variation temperatures; hence, stable augmentation change only 0.9% over range (10–50) ℃. Additionally, duct burner integration, system, led 6.4 million dollars annual saving fuel consumption, 15% less CO2 emission equivalent production. comprehensive feasibility study performed; showing return investment period equal 5.3 years, which is very promising.
