摘要: Following transplantation, areas of hypoperfusion can be associated with metabolic changes and poor organ recovery. Our study evaluated contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) agents for the detection such areas. Livers were collected from ten pigs, connected to extracorporeal circuits perfused using autologous blood. After 1 4 h livers scanned an machine following administration CEUS agents. Biopsies non-perfused collected. The entire parenchyma enhanced strongly on non-contrast at 1 h no perfusion defects. Four hours later multiple defects manifested not evident ultrasound. Histology confirmed corresponded ischemic zones. In our model addition revealed after 4 h. This might facilitate characterization in transplanted livers.
