摘要: Abstract Background Microbubbles have improved ultrasonography imaging techniques over the past 2 decades. Their safety, versatility, and easiness of use rendered them equal or even superior in some instances to other modalities such as computed tomography magnetic resonance imaging. Herein, we conducted a literature review present their types, general behavior tissues, current potential clinical practice. Methods A search was for all preclinical studies involving microbubbles ultrasonography. Results Different types are available. These generally improve enhancement tissues during They also can be attached ligands target several conditions inflammation, angiogenesis, thrombosis, apoptosis, might carrying toxic drugs diseased sites, thereby limiting systemic adverse effects. Conclusions The is evolving rapidly significant impact on management various conditions. targeting agents gene drug delivery vehicles looks promising.
