摘要: We study the time-dependent aspects of activation and desensitization passively sensitized human basophils by a bivalent penicilloyl hapten, [BPO]2, in presence or absence monovalent [BPO]1. Data presented this preceding paper are found to be consistent with simple kinetic model binding cross-linking reaction between [BPO]1, cell surface IgE. It is shown that rapid perturbation cross-linked IgE dilution washing cells addition excess [BPO]1 causes re-equilibration rate histamine release within matter seconds. This demonstrates no stable antigenindependent “activated” state exists antibody necessary throughout entire time course release. In addition, we show requires continuing on monotone increasing function number molecules per cell. The also appears saturable antibodies. In light these data indicate approaches thermal equilibrium constant order 10 sec less. turn implies cyclic aggregates [BPO]2 unstable. Finally, since occur scale 100 more, dynamic, as opposed equilibrium, properties unlikely have any influence [BPO]2-induced release.
